A man who lives on the East Coast was listening to a service that had a spontaneous time of healing ministry where Pastor Bill Johnson shared a word knowledge. He said, "This one is kind of interesting. The word I'm getting isn't simply a healing; it’s a complete rebuilding," as he pointed at the same lower, left spot on his back where the man's herniated disc was.
The man's original injury occurred a year ago, and he was stuck in bed for months. Doctors said he needed surgery to be free of the pain. The surgery would have cut away the soft tissue disc away from the sciatic nerve which would mean that part of the cushion to pad the space between the vertebrae would be missing. He instead chose to undergo physical therapy and was ok, but he did experience times where his back went out and was in bed for eight months.
So when the word of knowledge was shared, what the man needed was a true healing that required a rebuilding! He quickly agreed with that word, received it, and even spoke it out loud. The next day, however, his back went out which would've normally caused discouragement, or even worse, cynicism. But he decided to say, "Well, if something is truly being rebuilt, that's probably going to be quite intrusive and even painful!" So he rested and continued to agree with the word of healing and rebuilding and was soon back on his feet and pain-free. It has been months later, and he hasn't experienced an ounce of pain.
