A woman was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease after becoming severely ill and undergoing testing in the hospital. For several months, she experienced extreme fever, vomiting, and difficulty eating. She was under the care of a specialist who informed her that the condition was not curable.
She later attended the Azusa Now gathering in California. During the event, she was approached by individuals who told her they believed God wanted to heal her of an autoimmune disease. Around the same time, she recalls that Kris Vallotton came on stage and gave a word of knowledge regarding healing from autoimmune conditions.
After leaving the event, she experienced a dramatic change—her symptoms ceased, and she was able to eat normally again. Since that time, she has remained healthy.
She went on to work as a teacher and spent 10 weeks in El Salvador doing missions work. She reflected that she has been able to do many things that would not have been possible prior to her healing and expressed deep gratitude for Bethel Church.
