A Divine Knee Replacement

March 22, 2013
After a man received prayer, his knee is a healed as it would be if it were replaced.

A man and his wife visited Bethel, and attended the Friday night service and the Healing Rooms on Saturday morning. He later wrote to share that something remarkable and deeply meaningful happened to both of them during their visit.

At the Healing Rooms, he observed that those ministering represented Christ and Bethel well. They first entered a room for the "Meeting the Healer” class. During the session, a woman invited anyone who had never felt the real presence of the Father to stand. Although he initially hesitated, he recognized inwardly that the invitation applied to him and eventually stood. Those who stood received prayer to experience the Father’s love.

At that moment, he did not feel anything, which he noted was not unusual for him. He had been saved in January 1980 during a revival in a small church in Arizona. He described himself as someone who does not easily express words or emotions, identifying as a straightforward, black-and-white thinker. Having spent 32 years in law enforcement, he related to a “just-the-facts” mindset and believed based on the Word of God.

They then moved into the Encounter Room. As he sat in a chair, stretched out his legs, rested his arm, leaned back, and closed his eyes, he suddenly began to weep—something he said was out of character for him. He described experiencing what he believed to be the presence of the Father, sensing reassurance that he was loved as a son. He felt as though an arm was around his shoulder, bringing comfort and affirmation. The experience felt real and unlike anything he had previously encountered. As the moment seemed to fade, he internally asked for it to return and felt that it did for a while longer. He described the experience as beautiful, profound, and life-changing, noting that he was still processing its impact on his life, personality, and spiritual walk.

Afterward, they entered the Healing Room. Although the primary purpose of their visit was for his wife, he also received prayer for his knee. He shared that in 1978, doctors at a naval hospital had removed the meniscus from his right knee, and for 10 years, he had been advised to undergo a knee replacement. He expressed his shock that, during that time in the Healing Room, he received healing in his knee.
