When a guest visited Redding for a writer's conference, they experienced healing in the Healing Rooms. For over two-thirds of the guest's life, they had an allergy to turkey. If they ate even a couple of bites, they would have severe gastro distress. If they were in a closed, small kitchen when turkey would be roasting, they would feel faint. Their ex-brother-in-law had to drag them out of the kitchen once as they were about to faint. This allergy caused them to become isolated; people were afraid to invite them over for dinner on holidays as turkey is such a traditional, holiday food.
When the guest was returning home to Canada after the writer's conference, they hadn't eaten since breakfast, and had a layover in San Francisco. All they could do was grab a sandwich to-go. They thought they selected chicken, but after a couple of bites, it didn't taste like chicken. They felt a whisper, "That's turkey." They didn't feel sick, didn't feel bloated, and didn't feel any of the normal symptoms that they would experience after eating turkey. But they had no proof because they had tossed the wrapper of the sandwich.
Later on, when they were making a mental shopping list for groceries, they felt God say, "Buy a slice of turkey breast from the deli. I've healed you, but you can test it out yourself." They did. They ate two slices of turkey with no reaction of any kind and did not experience any sickness.
