Symptoms and Side Effects of Cancer No More

November 9, 2007

A woman was diagnosed with stage four uterine cancer. A year later, she started chemotherapy and had a hysterectomy. A year after her hysterectomy, doctors discovered bone cancer, a stage two sarcoma in her left elbow bone. After undergoing surgery twice to scrape it off her elbow bone, her ligaments were damaged from the procedure. Afterwards, she could not lift her elbow without feeling excruciating pain, and she had terrible bruising around her elbow, which was still evident in October even though the last surgery was in June. Still undergoing chemo and radiation, she was told by her doctor to prepare for the worst. A single mom, she was praying with her 12-year-old daughter for money to travel to Bethel. A friend sent plane tickets for her and her daughter to come to Bethel for her birthday.

Before her trip to Redding, she had a blood transfusion because her blood count was down to 2.2 (11 being normal), but was only able to get it raised to 3.8. It had never been normal since her illness.

She responded to the call to come forward for prayer on the first night of the Open Heavens Conference at Bethel. While six people were praying over her, she thought someone had dropped water on her head; it was so cold. She opened her eyes and saw that everyone was praying for her. There was no water. That cold substance traveled from her head down to her feet. She could feel it. Then she crumbled. A Bethel pastor said to her, “The Holy Spirit is all over you.” He went to the mic and said that someone here just got healed. Her daughter bolted towards her and said, “Mom, raise your elbow.” She was able to do it without pain, and the bruising was all gone! Back at the hotel, she could lift her suitcase whereas before she could not even carry a water bottle with her left hand.

Their flight was cancelled, and while waiting for the next plane back from Redding, the daughter led someone to the Lord at the airport.

When the mother went to see her oncologist, she told him what had happened and showed him that she could raise her elbow and that the bruising was gone. He believed that God was at work in her, and scheduled a lot of tests: a full-body CAT scan to check for cancer cells, an MRI to look at her ligaments, and blood work.

The CAT scan showed no cancer or malignancy noted, the MRI showed that her ligaments that had been torn in surgery were normal, and the blood work revealed that her blood count was 11.9. The cancer cell count was zero!

She said that she was “floating in air,” felt energetic, and had no pain. She felt like she did before she was diagnosed with cancer. Many people in her area found out about her healing, and God got all the glory!
