My wife and I decided we wanted to visit Bethel Church as part of our honeymoon. My wife has had Celiac Disease for about three years. If she even had bread touched her food, she could have been in bed with flu-like symptoms for literally days. We love all things Bethel but also were intentional about going for healing. We first visited the Prayer Room and took communion together. Then we attended the 1:00pm service and afterward went forward for prayer for our marriage and her stomach. Right as we stood up to get in line, we heard a man over the microphone say he felt God was about to heal a stomach condition. I got excited. Then he even said it was specifically a daughter of God. That really got us excited. The speaker said that people coming forward for healing should ask God why the condition was there if they didn't know already. My wife said she prayed quietly and distinctively heard God say that she was holding on to it and needed to reject the condition. This makes sense because I have been aggressively pursuing praying for healing for a few years with many breakthroughs, but never seemed to get any for her healing. We received prayer from a student of the BSSM. As he prayed for us, he had his hand on my shoulder, which immediately became ice cold. This continued even up to 10 minutes after the prayer. I had her touch my shoulder to verify this and I'm normally very hot-natured!
My wife said that she had suddenly craved one of the muffins from the Hebrews coffee shop the moment we had initially walked into the building. So we decided to go and get one for her to eat. She scarfed down the huge muffin (for the first time in years) and had absolutely no symptoms. Normally within five minutes, she'd have a huge bloated stomach and then would go downhill from there, so she was completely healed! We ended up spending the rest of the honeymoon eating pretty much nothing but bread, pastries, pasta, pizza, etc., and she had absolutely zero problems! It has now been weeks of her eating anything she wants! Praise Jesus, the One who heals us of every disease!
