Always Hope

Be a part of stirring up hope in your community! We are starting a new campaign focused on reminding people to lean into hope by creating something beautiful and using the hashtag #alwayshope! We have created a beautiful coloring sheet for kids to join in on the fun, but this can be expressed through chalk art, window art, making your own lawn sign, or something totally unique! Take a photo of it and post it using the hashtag #alwayshope so we can see how you’re encouraging your community.

How To Participate

Ways to Inspire Others to #alwayshope:

  • Make a lawn sign to post in your yard!
  • Color in this #alwayshope coloring sheet and post it in a window in your home!

Show Kindness

Show Kindness Facebook Group was created with the desire for Redding neighbors to show kindness and support to each other that might be affected by current events. This group has been set up to build an informal network of volunteers who can support those who are vulnerable or self-isolating because of Coronavirus or are at risk group in Redding, CA. It aims to share and organize community resources in response to COVID-19 to ensure that vulnerable community members have access to food, healthcare, and other necessities.

It is also for the redistribution of resources in the case that stockpiling prevents people from accessing basics. Members can share what support or supplies they need allowing those of us who are unaffected and can offer help to respond to these needs. This includes everything from dropping off food or hot meals, supplies, medications, childcare, spiritual and emotional care, and support. Join Show Kindness Facebook Group Today!
