There is something significant and vitally important about setting aside time to seek the Lord together. In the middle of full lives, responsibilities, and the many things that compete for our attention, we need to create space to be in His presence and seek His face for what He is saying and doing.
Open Heavens has always held a special place in our hearts as a community because it reflects so much of who we are as a house. We aren’t just hungry for the presence of God; we are convinced that Jesus alone can satisfy, and that without His presence, we are destitute of true purpose, passion, and meaningful momentum. Our hunger for God exists because we have tasted and seen that He alone is truly good, and the satisfaction found in His presence eclipses every other desire we could have. We are convinced that one encounter with Jesus can change everything because we have seen it and seek to live from that reality.
Every year, I am moved by our Lord’s faithfulness to meet with us and ignite us with fresh and holy fire for the season ahead. The Holy Spirit has been given without measure, and we are responding to His invitation for more.
My prayer is that Open Heavens would be a place of deep surrender, fresh encounter, and renewed faith. That we would find immense purpose in God for our lives, one that goes beyond the day-to-day and leads us to dream of a greater reality of His Kingdom coming to the places we have been called to influence with His glory and love.
It would be such a joy to welcome you to Redding and to gather with you as we seek Jesus together, so that we would know Him and follow Him with the inexpressible joy and passion that only He can give.
