In December of 2014 a woman had a stroke and was told she would likely never get back to even 50% health. Her children told the doctors that God would restore her to 100% because He is a 100% kind of God. Her progress was miraculous. She was walking, talking, and using her right arm, all of which they implied would never happen. Although her speech was clear, she struggled to find words and she spoke very haltingly. She became shy and would clam up rather than appear inadequate.
On a Sunday in August 2016 when Kris Vallotton had a word of knowledge about the synapses of the brain being restored and neuropathways becoming clear, her family looked at each other, and she said, "That's my word." She claimed it and received it, and they didn't think much about it. A few days later, she launched into a story, without any halting or hesitation in her speech. Her granddaughter said, "Grandma, I haven't heard you tell a story like that since before the stroke." It was like her speech went back to before the stroke.
