Close to home, Bethel Global Response was invited to re-engage in Carr Fire long-term recovery by the Community Foundation of the North State through forestry recovery and mitigation. Gladly accepting their invitation, Bethel Global Response hired new staff, assembled a crew, and are serving four trail systems within the burn zone on public lands, removing hazards and clearing fire damaged trees and shrubs. The cut fuels will be removed through burn piles beginning this fall.
Bethel Global Response oversees a team of over 1,000 people who are trained to respond to disasters. While carrying the atmosphere of heaven, we tangibly display the love of Jesus by meeting physical needs through ash outs, relief and recovery training, food distribution, and more. We meet people in moments of crisis with hope and love. Through these divine opportunities, we see life restored and people beginning to dream again.
