Taking Ground Conference

We are excited to host Breakout Sessions this year! These sessions, hosted by leaders in our environment, are focused on aspects of hosting Heaven in our lives. We believe that you will leave feeling refreshed and filled. You will have the opportunity to attend three breakouts as they are back-to-back during this block.

The Heart Of Discipleship: Leslie Crandall

The harvest is plentiful—but the question remains: are we forming disciples who can sustain it?

In this breakout, Leslie will talk on the heart of biblical discipleship—not as a program, but as a way of life. Jesus didn’t just gather crowds; He formed people. As leaders, we are called to cultivate hearts, steward growth, and walk with others toward maturity in Christ so the fruit of the harvest remains.

Together, we’ll unpack what it means to disciple with intentionality, depth, and love—creating environments where people are known, formed, and sent. To help us shift from simply counting converts to cultivating disciples who carry the character, power, and compassion of Jesus into every sphere of life.

If we want to see lasting fruit in this season of harvest, we must return to the heart of discipleship.

Overflow to Impact: Tom Crandall

We are living in a moment ripe for harvest—but true evangelism is never driven by pressure; it flows from overflow.

In this breakout, Overflow to Impact, we will explore how a life deeply rooted in the presence of God naturally spills into powerful, authentic evangelism. When our hearts are full, our lives become a witness. Evangelism becomes less about formulas and more about love, obedience, and partnership with the Holy Spirit.

Together, we’ll unpack how to recognize the fields that are already ripe, discern divine moments, and step into everyday conversations with faith and confidence. This session will equip and encourage you to move from personal encounter to public impact—seeing lives transformed as the harvest is gathered through a life lived from overflow.

Come be stirred, empowered, and reminded: the harvest is ready, and God desires to use ordinary people living yielded lives to bring extraordinary impact.

The Glory of God: Brad Klynsmith

In this breakout, we’ll explore the glory of God not as a distant or abstract idea, but as His near, present, and active reality among His people. God is not far away; He is close, engaged, and eager to reveal Himself in ways that transform hearts, renew faith, and awaken hunger for more.

This session will stretch our belief system around what is possible when the glory of God is revealed. As we lean into the theme of the Harvest, this breakout will invite you to see that the glory of God is not just for personal encounter, but for mission. His manifested presence prepares the ground, draws hearts, and empowers us to steward the harvest with faith, expectancy, and confidence in what God desires to do—here and now.
