At a mall outreach in Johannesburg, a team ran into a group of students from a deaf school. The students allowed them to pray for them, and about six of the students received healing. Some were deaf/mute, and God not only opened their ears but also healed their speech. It was incredible.
The team leader received text messages from one of the students who received healing saying how she was able to speak and hear after receiving prayer. She also texted saying how she'd been talking all weekend over the phone to her deaf friend, and they both were able to hear and speak to each other for the first time.
When the team got back to Redding, they shared this testimony at a church service. A week later, the team leader received a text message saying how there was a deaf person with an interpreter at the service when they shared the testimony about the deaf students being healed. The deaf person in the service was able to hear and let his interpreter go, whom he had hired for the weekend.
