A boy’s cornea was scratched when his brother accidentally poked his eye. The scratch could be clearly seen, and his doctor gave him eye drops and an uncomfortable eye patch to wear for at least a week. After receiving prayer, the boy went for his follow-up, doctor’s visit—and to the doctor’s surprise, he could find no trace of the injury. The family cheered and explained to the doctor that they had prayed for this healing. Also a Christian, the doctor wrote in the chart, “Cornea healed. Family prayed.”
