Healed Intestine

May 20, 2016
Someone receives healing from ulcerative colitis during a Healing Conference at Bethel.

We received this testimony from someone who attended the Healing Conference at Bethel in January 2016:

I'd been diagnosed over a decade back with ulcerative colitis, a condition of ulcers and an inflamed and sometimes bleeding intestine. So not a fun time! There were periods when what I could eat was mashed-up food my two-year-old baby nephew ate. I grew very thin, and years later, though my body gradually took in food as we know it, I wouldn't go out much, for fear of having to rush to the loo at any moment! Mild depression set in, as I had very little social interaction. God had told me right at the start, "It is finished," and I knew in effect what He was saying to me was "You're good; you're well." Believing is a battle, as sometimes I'd find blood in the washroom after use (and it had to do with the state of the intestine). Well, God in His kindness assured me He intended to make me well and that I was, in fact, well. I remember the first time I watched a pastor on TV say, "God wants you to be well." I remember thinking, "Wow, maybe this is not for me to endure. It's meant to end!" Getting to know who God is has been and will continue to be phenomenal! It's healed me. So this January, I had dear, wonderful Pastor Bill pray for me (more than once! He is so patient). And Randy Clark's son called out this very condition. I stood up. He, too, prayed for me twice! Well, I think it was the second day of the conference. Randy Clark was asking people to come up and testify. I did, as I'd asked God to show me that I was healed with a sign, and He gave me one, air, wind, or gas inside me where my intestine was and some kind of tingling on my left hand. It wasn't what I expected, but there it was! I stopped taking meds that night (crazy, bold, something only God could have done). I said I'd go home, go for a test, and send the results. I went in for a colonoscopy, which I usually dread, and had the Holy Spirit gently reassure me more than once about it, as I only scheduled for it three months later (after the healing conference). This means I didn't take meds for about three months. When the doctor and nurse asked me before the exam, as they do, "Have you been taking your meds? Do you have any other conditions?" I replied to them both, "I haven't taken my meds, but please do the test, and then I'll listen to whatever you have to say (as it is essential to take meds for this condition). And to the nurse I said, "I have no conditions, I'm well!" And that's what God gave me. Not only that, but He gave me supernatural peace during the time I was in the hospital after my friend prayed for me. The entire procedure, even the night before, was enjoyable (usually the liquids they give you for clearing out your system are so nasty!). God made everything good and pleasant for me.) Here are the results: healed intestine!
