Rick has been married to Cecilia Chavez for 19 years, and together they have five sons. Rick and his family have lived in Redding for the past 13 years.
Rick serves on the Men’s Core Group leadership team and helps as a Connect Pastor and Revival Region 1 leader. He is passionate about giving back to the community and serving the local church body. Some of the ways he does this include coaching his son’s soccer team, hosting Bible studies, and serving at local events.
While Rick currently works in the construction industry, he has spent most of his career as a substance abuse counselor. He holds strong values centered on family, faith, and community. He believes the Lord is doing a great work among the men of the local church and throughout the world.
