Originally from North Georgia, David Funk now lives in Redding, CA with his wife and son,where he leads worship for Bethel Church and is a part of Bethel Music. Achurch boy through and through, he has a passion for the local church and specifically the development of local worship teams, not in skill alone but also in the pursuit of the presence of God, individually and corporately. Funk is known for his recording of “Touch of Heaven / Alabaster Heart (Live)” and has appeared on several Bethel Music albums leading songs including “Son Of Suffering” and “Beauty”. When he’s not traveling, he enjoys being at home with his family (and cats), having game nights and dinner parties with friends, and producing music for churches and artists.
