About

Come gather with neighbors to pursue connection and encounter God’s presence.

For decades, Bethel Church has been made up of a people wholly devoted to the pursuit of the presence of God, glorifying Jesus and partnering with the Holy Spirit to see Heaven on earth. Some have been raised here, while others have come from cities, states, and nations around the world, unified in passion and hunger. We have called this place our house, those next to us our people, and His presence and truth our longing. But what makes a house a home? What moves a personal pursuit to a purpose lived out together? How does a community steward a collective heart for revival? What moves a city and sees it come alive under the power and love of the Gospel?

In the book of Acts, such a community exists. Through the regular breaking of bread and sharing life with one another, prioritizing discipleship and God’s Word, caring for and leading one another, the first House of Acts was born, and the coming kingdom was demonstrated by the way they loved each other. This intentional community modeled fruitfulness and faithfulness lived side-by-side, transforming the world and shaping the course of history. And this is the way of life that we want to pursue within our own Body.

This fall, we’re launching Revival Regions—monthly gatherings where neighbors come together to pursue connection and encounter God’s presence. Every believer carries something vital, ministering from their God-given gifts to release strength, wisdom, and encouragement. As we worship, share meals, open the Word, and walk in community, we believe God will stir fresh hunger for Jesus and bring transformation to hearts, homes, and neighborhoods across Redding.

Revival Regions will begin gathering in Summer 2025 for times of connection before officially launching this fall. Find out more and discover your community today.

About

WhoWhatWhere

Revival Regions are for everyone, no matter what your season of life looks like.

Revival Regions are for everyone who calls Bethel their home church.

They’re for people in every stage of life, young or old, single or married, new to the faith or seasoned in the journey. Anyone who wants to grow, belong, and be part of something bigger than themselves. The Bethel Church family on mission—where we run side by side, heart to heart, life to life

Revival Regions help us live out the biblical call to build up the Church, not just on Sundays, but in our everyday lives. It's about meeting together, sharing life, and using our gifts to strengthen one another and see the Body come to full maturity. This is our invitation to walk out the vision of revival together, as one Body.

Each Region is in the greater Redding area—for revival in every community.

We gather in parks, homes and spaces all across our city and region to be the church together.

We worship, pray, eat, laugh, and open the Word. We make room for the Holy Spirit and for each other. We share testimonies, carry one another’s burdens, and call out the gold. We activate our gifts and step into maturity as the Body of Christ.

This is not a meeting—it’s a movement of family made up of every generation (children, singles, parents and grandparents) doing life together and partnering with what God is doing in our church and city, life-to-life, and heart-to-heart.

Revival Regions are larger gatherings—but small groups are a part of them, too.

While small groups focus on deeper connection and spiritual growth in smaller weekly gatherings (usually in homes), Revival Regions are larger monthly gatherings of a broader, intergenerational community of roughly 100 Bethel households. They include singles, families, kids, grandparents—everyone having a place to walk side-by-side in worship, service, discipleship, and life.

The heart behind Revival Regions is to create a local, pastoral covering that connects people where they live. This is so that thriving community can grow, discipleship can deepen, and the local Body can be activated to do the work of the ministry together.

Small groups are still a vital part of Bethel life and are integrated into Revival Regions. The monthly regional gathering is a place to connect across the wider community and be encouraged to plug into a weekly small group to go even deeper.

FAQ

Not ready to be a part of a Revival Region yet? No problem.

If you call Bethel Church home, you’ve automatically been placed in a Revival Region. Revival Regions are our way of providing pastoral care to Bethel Church, and one way we care for our church family—through consistent connection, prayer, and community across our city and region.

However, you are welcome to opt out of receiving Revival Region communication and not participate in gatherings and activities. Your pastors and leadership team will continue to pray for, encourage, and support you as part of the Bethel Church family at whatever level you desire.

To opt out of receiving regular communications from your Revival Region just follow the unsubscribe link in any email you have received, or click here to unsubscribe.

You can attend a different Revival Region if you would like to be with friends.

Revival Regions are based on geography because we believe proximity creates natural pathways for relationships to grow, for neighborhoods to be transformed, and for consistent, local care to flourish. It also helps us quickly and easily find our “people”—those we can build with, pray with, and do life with. But Revival Regions aren’t meant to be restrictive. If you’ve been part of Bethel for a while and already have deep connections with a small group, friends, or leaders outside of your geographic region, you’re welcome to stay connected to that community. Revival Regions are flexible—and your meaningful relationships matter.

To join a different region, just sign up or show up and let your leadership team know which region you’d like to be a part of. We’re here to help you thrive in the community that best supports your growth and belonging. If you have any questions, you can reach out to the Community Life Team at connect@bethel.com.
