Holy Monday is when we reflect on Jesus cleansing the temple, demonstrating His zealous desire for a holy House of Prayer where the nations may worship God. Paul says we (as individuals and corporately as the Church) are God’s temple (1 Cor. 3:16).
Prayer Focus:
- Repentance from areas where we are distracted and preoccupied with things that take our focus away from Jesus.
- Purify our hearts and minds, and renew our passion and zeal for your House and for the nations.
- Confess our dependence on God to be able to reflect His holiness and priorities in all that we do.
- Help us to live in alignment with His will, and may His justice and peace reign over our land.
