Welcome to Day Three of Holy Week!
Join us as you are able for times of prayer today in our Upper Room, as we focus our attention on the work of Christ in His journey to the Cross and through the resurrection!
Morning Prayer:
Morning Prayer Gathering | 7:30am-8:30am | Upper Room
Holy Tuesday is when we reflect on the sign of the withered, fig tree proclaiming God’s desire for a fruitful and faith-filled people under His reign. We contemplate the sermon at the Mount of Olives as He foreshadows His death and resurrection, signaling the end of the Old Covenant and the drawing of all people unto Himself, the true Temple.
Prayer Focus:
- Pray for the Lord's help in cultivating a heart and life that bears lasting fruit. Let Jesus be the gardener of your heart and life as He walks through celebrating and changing things, plucking out the weeds that fight against the Gospel of the kingdom.
- Pray for the Church in this hour, as the Lord continues to call us to higher standards of holiness and purity as the Church, that the people of God would be covered in His love and remain rooted in faith.
- Pray for the good fruit of righteousness, justice, truth and love for one another to be evident in our nation, city, church and homes.
- Pray for the harvest of souls to come forth, and that through Christ's death and resurrection, He may receive the reward of His suffering.
Scriptures for Today:
Psalm 118:19-27, Psalm 110, Luke 13:6-9, Luke 20, Matthew 24:1-2, John 12:30-33
