Kirk and Denise Schauer have spent most of their adult lives involved in caring for the poor and needy in various ways. They have served as missionaries in England, Hong Kong, Cambodia, and Zambia and poured into many other countries on over 70 short term mission trips. Kirk and Denise are the Founders and the International Directors of Seeds of Hope International Partnerships (sohip.org), a nonprofit organization that works to reverse the downward spiral of poverty by empowering community members with hope and holistic solutions. They have worked in Africa for 20 years bringing Kingdom Community Development through training and empowering local community members in various forms of water, sanitation and hygiene projects. Through the gospel together with practical trainings and projects, they have been able to bring clean water to over 1,000,000 people in more than 13 African countries.
Presently, they are working in Mozambique with I Reach Africa and in Kenya with the African Bible Schools. These projects are providing vision and building these ministries capacity to help their communities. Kirk is also conducting trainings in Supernatural Discipling Nations and Denise is involved with missionary debriefing. Their passion is to see the Holy Spirit empower people in all nations to be released into their destiny and activated to disciple individuals, communities, tribes and nations! They have 3 children and are currently living in Redding California.
