At the age of 17, Don had a life-changing encounter with Christ in a Los Angeles jail that eventually propelled him and Patti into a lifetime of missionary service. After graduating from Vanguard University, the Hall's were led of the Lord to start several Teen Challenge programs in California, Hawaii and Asia. Over the years, untold numbers of troubled & addicted youth and adults have been rescued from sin and bondage into a new life in Christ.
Later, Don and Patti joined with Youth With A Mission and a network of others to provide discipleship & leadership training. It also included the joy of reaching out in cross-cultural evangelism to 60+ nations with God's love. Ministry has impacted the homeless; the forgotten in jails & prisons; our US Military troops; the victims of catastrophic disasters; the suffering in the inner-cities & tribal villages; and ministry to other missionaries needing encouragement or counsel. Along with these specialized ministries, Don and Patti have also found time to pastor 3 churches in the US and Europe.
In recent years, the Hall's have been engaged with ministries like YWAM, the Book of Hope, and Across Ministries in the task of eliminating Bible poverty in the world. They have led, or been a part of, many teams placing hundreds of thousand Bibles in schools, orphanages, correctional facilities, and other venues. Don and Patti say:
